Adult Rowing Team

General Information

Our Adult Rowing Team consists of former collegiate rowers, long time rowers, and rowers who have recently completed our Learn to Row program. In order to join the team, you must first be a member of the Milwaukee Rowing Club (see our Membership page for info and to register). Members of the Adult Rowing Team participate in organized coached practice sessions in sweep boats (8’s and 4’s). The coaching staff creates the lineups for each practice session. Sessions provide technique instruction and a strong workout plan which allows the team to see continued progress and boat speed throughout the season. Come be a part of a community of rowers who are building friendships, strength, and boat speed.

Summer Rowing Schedule

Adult Competitve Program

May 5 - July 31
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 5:15 - 7:00 AM
This is our coached summer rowing team which practices in 8's and 4's. Registration to join the summer season is open to any rowers who have completed at least one on-water season (learn to row and/or other rowing experience). New this year, regatta fees for three regattas will be included in the registration fee.
Cost: $450

ADULT COMPETITVE TEAM REGISTRATION

Adult Recreational Program

June 1 - July 29
Monday and Wednesdays: 5:15 - 7:00 AM
This is our coached summer rowing team which practices in 8's and 4's and not looking to rae over summer season. Registration to join the summer season is open to any rowers who have completed at least one on-water season (learn to row and/or other rowing experience). 
Cost: $250

Note: in order to register for the Adult Rowing Team, (1) you must be a member of the club; (2) you must complete Learn to Row or have rowing experience.

  • Skokie, IL Racing Series

  • Chicago Sprints - July 12-13

  • Masters Nationals - July 17-20 (select crews only)

  • Milwaukee/Mendota Scrimmage - TBD

Fall Rowing Schedule

August 12 - October 23

Tuesdays and Thursdays; 5:30-7:00am

Tentative Fall Regatta Schedule:

  • Milwaukee River Challenge - October 4

  • Head of the Rock - October 12

  • Head of the Charles - October 17-19 (select crews only)
