2025 Pull Together Campaign

The beginning of 2025 marks the push for our annual "Pull Together" campaign. Our athletes work extremely hard, and they deserve to continue to be provided with resources which put them in the best position to succeed. This year, we need to update the engines in our fleet of launches and add a Pocock 4+ to the boathouse. Additionally, we are always seeking funding to support scholarships and our STEM to Stern effort. After a strong 2024, our athletes are looking to build on their success. Please support the Milwaukee Rowing Club athletes as they strive for greatness!

2025 Urgent Needs

The club is in need of updating our fleet, and continued funding for our STEM to Stern program. Here is our goal for 2025:

  • Used Pocock 4+ - $14,000

    • We are in need of one more four to accommodate our training and racing needs. Training in fours is a key piece in learning to become an efficient and effective rower. The addition of this four will also provide our athletes in all of our programs the opportunity to compete in more events at our regattas.

  • Three New Launch Engines - $15,000

    • Our club is in immediate need of new engines for three of our launches. Our launches are a vital mechanism for safety and instruction for all programming.

  • Funding/Support for our STEM to Stern Program/Financial Aid

2024 Youth Highlights

Our athletes showed their strength in 2024, through a tough year of training and racing against the best in the country.
Midwest Championships:
The MRC brought home medal in 4 events, and the program qualified five crews for the Youth Nationals.
Youth Nationals:
The MRC had three crews compete at Youth Nationals in Sarasota, FL. The Boys Varsity 8+, the Girls Varsity 8+, and the Girls 2nd Varsity 8+ all competed at a high level in June. The Boys Varsity 8+ (19th in the nation) and Girls 2nd Varsity 8+ (13th in the nation) had their best finish in the history of the program in their event. The Girls Varsity 8+ finished 16th in the nation.
Head of the Charles:
Two crews earned requalification for next year. Our crews proved competitive in a field of 85-90 crews in each event.
Head of the Hooch:
The MRC had three crews earn top 10 finishes and 5 crews finished in the top 20 (of 80+ crews in each event).

2024 ADULT PROGRAM

Our Adult Program had a strong year of growth and development, and we are excited for the upcoming water season with added racing opportunities and longer summer and fall seasons in 2025. Our adult team is becoming a strong program within the club where the above campaign needs are important in offering high level programming to our members.
